You are invited into my private studio to experience the first live presentation of “As Within, So Without,” a multidisciplinary performance exploring creation, destruction, and rebirth through painting, sculpture, movement, and sound.
Two years in the making, this immersive work blurs the boundaries between art, movement, and sound. It is a living world built by hand and performed by its own creations.
This is an intimate, private event. Seating is limited..
The Cast
The performance features a remarkable ensemble of collaborators who embody the raw spirit of transformation:
Michael Buscemi — Known for his haunting subtlety and depth, he brings the presence of the creator undone, the silent architect of the world within the work.
Iris Ásmundar — Dancer and performer, channeling the pulse of rebirth through movement and rhythm. Her role blurs the line between sculpture and spirit, motion and stillness.
Babou Sanneh — The living echo of chaos and creation; both witness and catalyst. His presence binds the elements of clay, sound, and ritual into one breathing performance.
Together, they give body and breath to the unseen forces of creation, the soul of “As Within, So Without.”
Evening Schedule
Doors Open: 7:00 PM
Performance Begins: 7:30 PM (no late entry)
Duration: 1 hour
Reception: 8:30 – 10:30 PM
Following the performance, join the cast for an evening reception inside the studio with light bites and cocktails.
Studio Setting & Attire
This experience unfolds within my working art studio, a space alive with clay, and transformation.
You will be close to the performers, and it’s possible that a trace of natural clay might reach your clothing.
Please dress accordingly, or simply embrace it as part of the art itself.

This is a private invitation-only event, held within the artist’s New York studio.

Directions to the studio
Please note that you cannot uber to the 499 Van Brunt address. They will not be able to enter. Instead, uber to 480 Van Brunt street and walk over to the 499 building.
After you enter the building, someone will meet you and show you to your seat. (see video)
